Simple Meditation & Zen Mindfulness

We are a relaxed, informal, friendly and inclusive group of all ages and experience.  Our approach to inner peace and wellbeing is practical, easy to follow, and enjoyable.   Through gently guided, simple and mindful meditations, we can experience the natural state of calm awareness and contentment in the present moment.  All welcome.

Quiet Writing

Mindful Writing & Poetry Group

Exploring writing and poetry through mindful awareness, with an emphasis on Nature, celebrating the senses and uncovering the joys and simplicity of the present moment. Using guided meditations and creative exercises to reconnect to the world with inspiration and calmness, we develop a peaceful, enjoyable and contemplative approach to creativity. 

We meet about twice a month, no writing experience needed.


11.00 am - 12.45 pm Thursdays       Regular drop in, £5

Quiet Mind / Quiet Writing Retreat

A day of Mindfulness & Creative Writing

A relaxed and enjoyable workshop retreat allowing us to access stillness, creativity

and inner peace more deeply.   Practical, fun and easy to follow, we use gently guided,

simple writing and meditative exercises to experience a natural state of calm awareness, 

and to awaken inspiration and contentment in the present moment.


Led by Colin Willcox.   All welcome, no writing or meditation experience needed.
